Free Furniture for Those Who Need It Most
Thanks to generous community donations, Angels Community Group provides free second-hand furniture to individuals and families who are starting over, doing it tough, or simply unable to afford essential household items.
What Is the Free Furniture Program?
Through our Second 2 None store and community warehouse, we receive good-quality second-hand furniture and pass it directly on to people who need it. From mattresses to microwaves, we help ensure everyone has access to the basics that make a house feel like a home.
Our available furniture changes based on recent donations and may include:
mattresses and bed frames
tables, desks and chairs
couches
microwaves, fridges and other whitegoods
If we have something that meets your needs, it’s yours free of charge.
Anyone who genuinely needs furniture is welcome to access this program.
It’s designed to support people who may be without essentials, whether that’s a safe mattress to sleep on, a kitchen table, or a desk for studying.
There are no eligibility hoops to jump through. If you need it and we have it, we’re here to help.
Who Can Access This Service?
How to Arrange FOR SOME Furniture
Furniture is stored in our warehouse, so access is by appointment only.
To book a time, call Angels Second 2 None on (07) 4152 5267.
At your appointment, a team member will walk you through what’s available and help you choose what you need.
Delivery Options
If you can’t collect your items, we offer free delivery to:
Bundaberg
Bargara and local beaches
Rosedale, Gin Gin and Childers (weekly trips):
We deliver to Rosedale, Gin Gin and Childers once a week, but only within the town limits. We cannot deliver to surrounding rural properties.
Delivery is usually within a few days, depending on our schedule.
HOW TO DONATE FURNITURE
If you have furniture or whitegoods in good, clean condition, you can drop them at 67 Bourbong St or call (07) 4152 5267 to arrange a pick-up.
To keep this service sustainable, we cannot accept or pick up furniture that is damaged or unhygienic.
Angels covers all our own disposal fees, so we’re unable to take items that would need to be dumped.
Some donated items are sold through Second 2 None.
These sales help cover the running costs of our delivery truck — so we can continue providing furniture for free to people who need it most.
