Volunteer SORTER

We’re seeking volunteers to assist behind the scenes at Second 2 None by sorting donated goods.
This role requires:
A commitment of one day per week (Monday–Friday)
Ideal for people who enjoy hands-on work
Not customer-facing
A great option for retirees or people needing to meet Centrelink activity requirements
A meaningful way to stay connected to the community

FULL-TIME STORE SUPERVISOR – Angels Mini Mart
38 hours per week | Tuesday–Saturday
Angels Mini Mart is seeking a capable and motivated Full-Time Store Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our community-focused store.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a not-for-profit organisation operating in the retail space. We are looking for someone who is organised, mature, proactive, and ready to take ownership of their shift while supporting a positive team culture.
This role also offers genuine growth potential, with opportunity to progress into a Store Manager position in the future.

As Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Leading and supervising a team of approximately five staff per shift
Ensuring the store is clean, organised, fully stocked and professionally presented at all times
Coordinating and completing stock runs between the warehouse and store
Overseeing stock rotation and replenishment
Ensuring all items are correctly priced and displayed
Monitoring and maintaining high standards of Work Health & Safety (WHS)
Conducting basic equipment checks (e.g., fridge and freezer temperature monitoring, identifying icing or faults) and reporting maintenance issues
Providing clear reporting and communication to management
Learning to safely operate a pallet stacker (training provided)
This position also includes a small component of warehouse work each week, assisting with stock organisation and movement.

Essential Requirements:
Current driver’s licence (minimum C Class)
Ability to work independently and manage a team
Desirable (but not essential):
Warehouse experience
Retail experience (please include in your application if applicable)
Retail experience is not required.

This is an active, hands-on role and requires:
Ability to stand for extended periods
Regular lifting, moving and handling of stock
Comfort working across both retail and warehouse environments
Employment Details
Full-time position (38 hours per week, Tuesday–Saturday)
6-month probation period applies
Classification under the General Retail Industry Award (Level 4–6, dependent on experience)

Angels Cafe is seeking an experienced and motivated Cafe All-Rounder to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, works well independently, and enjoys leading a small team while delivering consistent, quality service in a steady-paced environment.

You will be responsible for:
Preparing high-quality coffee (barista experience essential)
Delivering excellent customer service and building rapport with customers
Leading and supporting a small team of 1–2 staff
Ordering stock and liaising with suppliers
Using the POS system confidently and accurately
Food preparation and maintaining food safety standards
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the café
Ensuring compliance with Work Health & Safety requirements
Working efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
This is a practical, all-rounder role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a calm, capable presence.

We are currently seeking a junior team member (17 years and over) to join our Angels Mini Mart team.
This role requires:
Availability on Saturdays
Availability between 3.30pm and 6.30pm on weekdays
A current driver’s licence
Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
Confidence interacting with customers (customer-facing role)
Willingness to learn, with training provided
