Who We Are
Angels Community Group is a Bundaberg-based social enterprise and charity supporting people through food relief, essential services, and pathways to employment. We exist to help people through tough moments while creating long-term opportunities that strengthen our community.
What began as an idea in 2015 has grown into a group of community services and social enterprises working side by side to support locals in practical, dignified ways.

Our Story
Angels Community Group began in 2015 after founder Sue Tasker experienced significant personal change, including the loss of a loved one and the end of long-term employment. During that period, Sue imagined a place that could support others while also creating purpose, connection, and opportunity.
Angels first operated as a training organisation, delivering employment-focused programs to help people build skills and confidence. As part of that work, a small op shop was created as a hands-on training space. That store became Second 2 None, Angels’ first social enterprise.
As the organisation grew, so did the needs of the community. Customers began asking for help with food, clothing, and everyday essentials. In response, Angels expanded its services, introducing food relief, community programs, and later Angels Mini Mart, a low-cost grocery store designed to reduce food waste while remaining accessible to everyone.
Today, Angels Community Group is led by Sue Tasker, alongside CEO Jazz Tasker, and operates a growing network of social enterprises and community programs. Together, they continue to adapt and respond to the needs of the Bundaberg community.
What Makes Angels Different
We believe support should be practical, respectful, and free from stigma. Our approach is built on trust, accessibility, and dignity.
Rather than separating “charity” from “business,” we run social enterprises that fund and support our community work. This model allows us to remain responsive, sustainable, and deeply connected to the people we serve.
Everyone is welcome in our spaces.
No referrals.
No judgement.
Just support when it’s needed.
Angels Community Group focuses on both immediate support and long-term change.
We provide short-term assistance such as free furniture plus essential items, and community programs. At the same time, we invest in long-term outcomes through training, employment pathways, and social enterprises that build confidence, skills, and financial security.
By combining these approaches, we aim to support people not just through crisis, but toward stability and independence.
